How Brickovation works
We don’t sell sealed boxes. We sell the set you want, custom-built from individually inspected, cleaned, and verified parts. Current catalogue, retired classic, or anything in between.
The workshop
We buy bulk unsorted LEGO by the pallet — estate sales, liquidations, partner suppliers worldwide — and process every piece through a five-stage workflow:
- Acquire. Bulk LEGO sourced and sorted into raw lots.
- Wash. Every piece washed, dried, and inspected.
- Scan. A YOLOv8 vision model identifies part number and color.
- Sort. Pneumatic routing into one of 864 numbered bins.
- Match. Inventory reconciled against the catalogue. Sets unlock for sale once every required part is in stock.
Our quality guarantee
Every brick passes three vision checks before reaching your bin. If a single piece is missing or out of spec when your set arrives, we replace it free — or refund the whole order, no questions asked.
We exclusively use authentic LEGO parts. We do not substitute compatible third-party bricks, and we’ll always note in the parts manifest if a particular era’s mold differs from the original.
Sustainability
Every kit we build is one fewer plastic injection cycle. Re-sorting and re-using existing LEGO keeps the bricks in circulation and out of landfills. We pack in recycled/recyclable materials whenever possible.
